Dear SWIFA members and web site visitors,

We have just completed one of our best spring meetings at the El Tropicano Riverwalk Hotel in San Antonio.  This joint meeting with PAMA provided all in attendance with loads of information on how to operate their business now or in the future.  Please take a moment to browse our site and read the convention recap, view our achievement award winners, and look at the social pictures.  Great knowledge and great fun was accomplished at the meeting.  Thanks to all our presenters, volunteers, and suppliers.

May I take a moment to thank now Past President Michael Folk for a job well done.  Under his leadership the last two years our organization has flourished and grown.  Many thanks, Michael.

I would also like to congratulate Jackie Cureton on being accepted into the Honored Life Member group.  You deserve it Jackie.

We are presently planning our 2008 spring meeting in Irving, TX.  If there is a particular topic or program you would like to see in the program please contact me or Julie Mowery, your President Elect.

In the meantime, I hope that you have a great spring and summer and I look forward to seeing you all along with new members in March 2008.
