SWIFA Annual Golf Tournament

Greetings Golfers,

The annual golf outing will take place at Bear Creek Golf Club, which is located inside the DFW airport.  Several board members checked out this course and it proved to be a challenge for everyone.  This course has been named among the "Top 50 Resort Courses in America" by Golf Digest and one of the "10 Great Places to Golf" by the Wall Street Journal.  Bear Creek has hosted PGA Tour Qualifiers, the Texas State Open, the AJGA National Tournament, the PGA National Golf Series, and NTPGA Sectional Tournaments.  You can visit their web site at www.bearcreek-golf.com for more information and directions to the course.

We will continue with our four person scramble format as we have in the past.  We encourage golfers to bring their wives, husbands, girlfriends or boyfriends.  It is not uncommon to have a beginner on the winning team.

This year we will have consecutive tee times starting at 8:00 AM on Thursday, April 3rd.  Registration and handicap for golf will be on the master registration form.  Declare early and send us your handicap/average score as early as possible so that the Pro can select the pairings.

The cost for this event is $100.00 per person and can be paid with the Convention Registration.
